Installing the plugin

Installing via Wordpress administration area

After you have purchased the plugin go to wordpress administration area then on PLUGINS , ADD NEW , UPLOAD and browse to  the zip file you downloaded  and click INSTALL

Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress

 

Installing via FTP

1. Upload the folder 'albdesign_sales_live_notification' to the '/wp-content/plugins/' directory
 
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress

Using the plugin

Once installed you`ll find the new widget on "Appearance" => "Widgets"
 
 
Drag and drop the widget on the sidebar you wish

Configuring the widget

Once you have dragged the widget on the sidebar you like , now you can configure it

 

Title - The top text that will be shown on the widget header

Text before the product - text that will be added before the product name

Show product images - show the featured image on the notification area

Default image URL - use a default image if the product doesnt has a featured image

Interval to check for new orders - how frequent to check for new orders received

Maximum number of orders to display - how many notifications  will be displayed on the widget . if the orders are more than this number than the oldest ( 1st on the list ) will be removed  to make space for the others

Make link to product - if "yes" the product name will be a link to the product itself 

CSS customization

By default the widget doesnt has any additional CSS applied , so it will take the theme`s wiget colors,font-size.

Should you wish to customize the display of the title or orders you can do so using CSS.
 
The possible CSS classes are :
 
.albdesign_wc_live_orders_title
the class of the title of the widget
 
.albdesign_wc_livesale_widget
the class of the UL containing the listings of the sales
 
.albdesign_wc_livesales_text_before_product
the class of the text before the product name
 
.albdesign_wc_livesale_link_product
the class of the product link ... if the "Make link to product" is enabled
 
.albdesign_wc_livesale_text_product
the class applied to the product name ... if the "Make link to product" is disabled
